Whitehorse Cheese was born from the meeting of two very different but perfectly complementary people. Martyn brings over 30 years of experience in the food industry as a Food Technologist, Microbiologist, and Cheesemaker. Lynne is a businesswoman with 25 years of experience and a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
Together, they purchased a property in Waimate, a charming South Island town, and brought Whitehorse Cheese to life. Now, after 13 years of ownership, their journey continues to evolve.
Martyn and Lynne are constantly exploring new flavours and ideas, always finding ways to tantalise your taste buds and turn every cheese purchase into something truly special.
